Record Theory is a labor of love. Conceived and executed by me and Mark Fulton—my best friend since 8 years of age. Mark handles the business, the money, and the bands. I get to play web ninja with very little supervision.

The simple elegance of Ruby on Rails let me develop the site from scratch in my free time after work. Our normalized database makes site updates quick, painless, and consistent. Our VPS gives us the control we need to play with cutting edge technology like Mongrel, and Gentoo Linux makes sysadmining fun again. Perhaps most importantly, the built-in unit tests protect me from myself.
